STILVOL. Garden Raspberry Fruit Liqueur. Raspberry liqueur made from garden raspberries from Baden-Württemberg – fruity, deep red, with 19% vol.
STILVOL. Garden Raspberry Fruit Liqueur is a raspberry liqueur made from regional garden raspberries from Baden-Württemberg, with 19% vol in a 500 ml bottle. A small-scale distillery produces it from pressed fruit juice, alcohol, and sugar. No syrup, no coloring – a liqueur whose vibrant red comes solely from the raspberry.
Garden Raspberry Fruit Liqueur from STILVOL. is a fruit juice liqueur, which means it is a sweetened spirit. For liqueurs, the EU mandates at least 15% vol and 100 grams of sugar per liter. While flavorings and colorings would be permitted, STILVOL. consciously avoids them. The bottle contains nothing but pressed raspberry juice, alcohol, and sugar. The producer speaks of the orchard from their childhood, where they would snack on raspberries in the summer. That is exactly how the bottle smells when you open it: like summer in Grandma's garden.
Taste
The raspberry liqueur tastes slightly sweet and full of ripe raspberry fruit, with a pleasant balance of sweetness and acidity.
STILVOL. describes it as intense in color and aroma: it glows deep red in the glass, and the berry is clearly at the forefront on the tongue. The raspberry's acidity keeps the sweetness in balance, making the liqueur feel fresh rather than sticky. At 19% vol, it is significantly milder than a fruit spirit (Obstgeist). If you are expecting a clear, dry raspberry eau-de-vie, this is not it – this is a liqueur with noticeable sweetness.
Usage
The Garden Raspberry Fruit Liqueur tastes great served neat in a small liqueur glass or mixed as a spritz or long drink with tonic.
Serve it neat after a meal in a small liqueur glass; this is the classic way to serve fruit liqueurs. For everyone at the table who finds a fruit brandy too strong, it is a milder conclusion.
For a Raspberry Spritz following the STILVOL. recipe, add ice to a glass, then 4 cl of raspberry liqueur, 5 cl of dry sparkling wine, and 1 cl of mineral water. Add a few drops of lemon juice or the oil from a lemon peel, then stir once. Garnish with fresh raspberries or a slice of lemon. The dry sparkling wine cuts the sweetness of the liqueur, making it a light aperitif for a summer evening on the balcony.
For a Raspberry Tonic, fill a wine glass or tumbler with ice and pour 4 cl of liqueur over it. Add about 160 ml of tonic water, plus a lemon twist or a few frozen raspberries. The bitter tonic complements the fruit.
Our tip: Freeze a few raspberries in the summer and use them instead of ice cubes. They cool the spritz and you have a little treat to snack on at the end.
Origin
Behind STILVOL. are four friends from Baden-Württemberg: Jessica, Markus, Danny, and Markus. They come from small villages in Upper Swabia and Hohenlohe and currently live in Laupheim and Stuttgart. With their brand, they want to bring local schnapps and liqueurs back to the table with a modern design.
According to STILVOL., the raspberries come exclusively from Baden-Württemberg. A local small-scale distiller presses them and processes the juice into liqueur. The STILVOL. team handles bottling, sealing, labeling, and packaging themselves, by hand. No artificial additives are added to any of their fruit liqueurs.
For whom
The raspberry liqueur is for everyone who prefers fruit to sharpness in their glass. It is perfect for garden parties, birthdays on the terrace, and as a gift for a host who likes mixing a spritz.
If you like raspberry, also try the Quince Cuvée, the second fruit liqueur from STILVOL., made from apple and pear quinces. You can find all bottles on our STILVOL. page. The liqueur is 19% vol and can only be sold to those 18 and older. Once opened, it will remain fruity in the refrigerator for a few months, after which the aroma slowly diminishes. It is not suitable for those looking for a purely bitter or dry aperitif – its sweetness is distinct.
