Behind STILVOL. are four friends: Jessica, Markus, Danny, and Markus—village kids from Upper Swabia and Hohenlohe, now at home in Laupheim and Stuttgart. Their motto is "Preserving tradition and redesigning it." They want to bring Williams & Co. out of grandma's cupboard and make fruit brandy fashionable again—with a modern design, whether enjoyed neat or in a cocktail. It is distilled by small-batch producers in Baden-Württemberg, and every bottle is filled, labeled, and packed by the STILVOL. team themselves, by hand. STILVOL. consciously avoids artificial additives and added flavors.

Spirits and Williams: Spruce, Rosemary, Golden Pear

The Nadelwald Spruce Spirit is made from planed spruce wood and spruce needles from Baden-Württemberg, and at 38% ABV, it is the German answer to stone pine schnapps. The Gartenkräuter Rosemary Spirit is a spirit made from German rosemary at 40% ABV, spicy and neat, or in a Rosemary Spritz. For the Frucht-Williams Golden Pear, the distiller soaks hand-cut pears in Williams Christ pear brandy for months, making it golden, slightly sweet, and mild at 36% ABV. Fruit Liqueurs: Quince and Raspberry

The fruit liqueurs consist of pressed fruit juice, alcohol, and sugar; the fruit grows in Baden-Württemberg. The Quince Cuvée, made from apple and pear quinces, is reminiscent of grandmother's quince jelly and makes for a great aperitif as a Quince Tonic. The Garden Raspberry Fruit Liqueur is a bold red and fruity, best enjoyed as a Raspberry Spritz with dry sparkling wine. Both have 19% ABV and stay fresh longest in the refrigerator once opened.
