s guate Tröpfle Advent Calendar Liqueur is a festive red wine liqueur from the liqueur manufactory of Andrea and Oliver in Durchhausen, in the district of Tuttlingen. Based on Württemberg Schwarzriesling, refined with dark rum from the Caribbean and spices, 20.3% vol, 500 ml in a bottle with a 24-day scale. No added flavorings, no coloring, no preservatives.

Advent Calendar Liqueur by s guate Tröpfle is an advent calendar in a bottle: the label features a scale from 1 to 24, and every day during Advent, you drink a little sip down to the next marking. Behind this is a wine liqueur handcrafted by the manufactory in Durchhausen: Württemberg Schwarzriesling as a base, supplemented with dark rum and spices, and given plenty of time to mature. For us, it has been the classic s guate Tröpfle advent tradition for years and one of the house's top sellers, especially as a gift.

The liqueur tastes of ripe red wine with the warmth of dark rum and the spice that belongs to the Advent season. The producer calls it a Christmas drink, and that is exactly how it smells: dark, fruity, and spicy.

The Schwarzriesling provides fruit and a velvety character, the Caribbean rum adds a warm, slightly caramel note, while the spices remain in the background, turning the red wine liqueur into a winter liqueur. At 20.3% vol, it is noticeable but mild enough to sustain a daily sip over 24 days. Anyone expecting mulled wine in a bottle will get something else: a matured liqueur that is drunk cold or at room temperature and doesn't require a pot. According to the manufacturer, the alcohol content may vary by batch; the label is authoritative.
