Lang Wine Vinegar: Vinegar from a chef in the Southern Palatinate

Lang Weinessig is a small manufactory in Gommersheim in the Southern Palatinate, founded by trained chef Jens Michael Lang. He learned his craft in star-rated kitchens, where he noticed how much a good vinegar contributes to a dish. For over ten years, he has been turning this into his own products: wine vinegars, vinaigrettes, fruit balsams, and ready-made salad dressings. The basis for many varieties is wine from a certified organic vineyard in the Southern Palatinate – Dornfelder, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir.

Dips, vinaigrettes, balsamic: the Lang range at Leni & Hans

The Balsamico Südpfalz is our best-selling Lang product, dense and fruity, perfect for drizzling over salad, cheese, and vegetables. The dips (Tunken) combine wine and fruit into a thick vinegar preparation for dipping bread and for dressing salads: Dornfelder & Date, Riesling & Fig, Pinot Blanc & Apricot, and Pinot Noir & Cherry, available in 175 and 335 ml. The vinaigrettes have names: the organic Vinaigrette Liese with Riesling, Doro with dried tomatoes, plus Jens and Albert. Mango and raspberry fruit balsams as well as three ready-made salad dressings – honey-mustard, chili-bacon, mango-chili – round off the assortment.
